These dogs are listed to be put down at NYC ACC, the first link below brings you to each dogs bio then the rest are rescue links to fill out applications. Every evening at 6:30 pm except Saturday there is a new list, we have until 1pm the next day to save them. They have done nothing wrong, they where dumped by irresponsible humans that should not have animals. Humans that don't feel having an animal is a lifetime commitment and they should be treated as family.

Rescues have a few basic rules, depending on rating of dog, kids should be 5 or older for average rated and 13 or older for experienced, any animal in home should be fixed unless medical waiver can be provided by vet, and up to date on shots. TO BE DESTROYED 02/09/2018 A volunteer writes: “Go slow, I am shy” announces a sign on Ellaria’s kennel. Indeed, Ellaria is petite and timid, a pretty girl dressed not as a lamb but as a tiger brindle..After a little pep talk, she is leashed easily for a fast walk in our front yard. She does her business in haste and demands to go back… It is too cold, let’s hang around and snuggle upstairs. Good idea…Let’s pose for pictures! Ellaria is cool with that. She is obedient, sits on command, stays and takes treats gently from my hand. She gives standing hugs and takes refuge in the arms of a staff before finally landing on my lap for caresses.
